In the article the author examines theendogenous variability absolute and relative ofneedle quantitative characteristics with differentparts of the sprouts of Scots pine. It is establishedthat the lowest level of characteristics variabilityobserved in pine needles collected from the middlepart of the central sprout. It is shown that the moststable variability inherent in the width and height ofthe cross-section of the needles, index of the form ofneedle cross-section (h/l), index of the number ofresin ducts to needle length (N1/L) and index of thenumber of resin ducts with the convex side to the areaof its cross-section (N2/S).
